Florin Fesnic is a researcher at the Center for the Study of Democracy in the Department of Political Science, Babes-Bolyai University, Cluj, Romania.

He is a comparativist whose research interests include research evaluation, the history of science, the determinants of support for the extreme right, and comparative democratic progress and backsliding.
